Persona 5 Royal released on Xbox early for some

Persona 5 Royal It landed on Xbox One and Xbox Series X a bit early for some lucky buyers. After years of requests, Atlus finally revealed a couple of months ago that it will bring the Persona franchise to Xbox starting in October with the release of Persona 5 Royal. And while the beloved JRPG wasn’t due to come to Xbox until just over a week from now on October 21, it appears that one major retailer was delivering the title well ahead of schedule.

Spotted by Persona Central, copied from Persona 5 Royal For the Xbox it arrived long before the game’s actual street date. Looks like Amazon was shipping abroad P5R For some customers about two weeks before its launch on Xbox One and Xbox Series X. It’s not clear how prevalent this “problem” is, but those who happened to see the game hit their doorstep beforehand so far aren’t disappointed.

In addition to the release on Xbox One and Xbox Series X, Atlus will offer Persona 5 Royal For a bunch of other platforms this month. These additional hardware parts include PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC. It is not clear whether P5R It happens to be shipping early on these platforms as well, but it certainly seems possible.

What’s so funny about the Xbox One and Xbox Series X versions of Persona 5 Royal Arriving early this way is that these platforms are likely where fans will not choose to purchase the game. The reason for this is P5R It also happens to be coming to Xbox Game Pass the moment it launches. As such, Game Pass subscribers may only look to play JRPG thanks to their subscription rather than purchasing it directly. However, some lucky fans who opted to purchase the game have apparently been rewarded with this Amazon shipping bug.
